If you run DOSBox, it will display a prompt that says "z:". Now, you have to tell DOSBox which directory this is. So for Stonekeep, it's located in C:\dosgames\stonkeep, but when I run DOSBox, it will look like c:\stonkeep. I made a directory called c:\dosgames, and I install all my DOS games there, and then DOSBox treats the dosgames directory as the virtual c: drive. Well actually, you can do it all without the configuration file, but modifying the configuration file is better because then you only have to do it once, and it will then work every time you run DOSBox.įirst, you have to choose a directory to use as your virtual c: drive. Instructions follow, with a summary at the end. This is called nf and is located in your DOSBox install directory. If you're trying to get another version running, like an original CD version, then you will have to do a few things to your DOSBox configuration file. GOG has done all the DOSBox configuring for you. Sometimes I marked unimportant things (like chests), so do not despair if you find nothing critical or secret at a marked location Other Points of interest (Persons/Statues/other Objects) I marked the following things as points of interest (red squares) on my maps: I used the walkthrough on Gamefaqs which notes almost any secret with exact coordinates, so the maps should be fairly complete. I just finished the Game and made a copy of my maps.
